Casinos!
I've been falling behind on keeping this blog current. Sorry to anyone who actually might be reading this stuff. Anyway, casinos. That's what I'm talking about. In just under a year of Washed in Black's existence we managed to book and rock the big stage at 7 Cedars Casino in Sequim, WA. For all intents and purposes it was a big success. One of the guests, a self proclaimed "Biggest Pearl Jam Fan Ever" told me we made his year...He and his wife traveled a couple hours from Forks, WA just to watch us play. We may have made their year, but they made my night. Great times all around and I really gotta give it to the 7 Cedars staff and crew! Thanks for making us feel welcome!
Next up...that's right! Another casino gig! We are very excited to rock Canoes Cabaret at Tulalip Resort Casino in Marysville, WA on April 15th. We're gonna leave it all on the stage for this one.
We will also be playing a short acoustic set on April 16th in support of SLAM (Support Local Arts and Music) Fest at Tony V's Garage in Everett. Many great musician's and artists will be there doing what they do. We will be paying musical and visual tribute to Pearl Jam's 1992 MTV Unplugged performance. This is an all ages event.
